License Plate Recognition

How it works

License Plate Recognition (LPR) uses cameras to automatically read your vehicle’s number plate when you enter and exit a car park. This removes the need for taking a ticket or tapping a payment card to enter a car park.

1. Drive-up (Casual) Customers:
Our cameras will read your licence plate number and record the time you entered the car park. When you exit, the system will calculate your fee based on the length of your stay.

2. Pre-Purchased Parking:
The car park equipment will match your licence plate to your pre purchased parking and you can simply drive in and drive out seamlessly as long as you are within the time conditions of your purchase. If you don’t meet the time conditions of your online purchase, you may be required to pay additional charges at the exit.

What if my licence plate isn’t recognised?

Follow the instructions on the entry/exit machine or use the help button for assistance.

Can I use LPR if I’ve purchased online?

Yes, at participating sites, your purchase is linked to your licence plate automatically.
